A Primer on Photography from a Guy Named Pepe

The photography that Pepe Karmel is writing about in this article may be interesting in itself, but what I enjoyed about this particular piece of internet rag is how much one can learn about the merits, shall we say, of different styles of photography. I guess photography is similar to poetry in that the medium originated with much attention to form, and later, looser styles emerged with a cacophony of debate around their particular advantages etc.
